Who are we?

Safari Wise offers a diverse range of travel services and we love the challenge of offering our customers a personalised holiday as a complete package.
Since our first expedition to Norfolk Island in 1989, we have created a reputation for offering outstanding service and unique holidays. Darran Leal has guided over 300 events throughout the world. Julia Leal has been a travel consultant for over 25 years. Together they make an awesome team!

Who books our expeditions?

We get a cross section of photo enthusiasts to each event. Even non photographers are guaranteed a great time! Customers vary in age and experience but all attend for the same goal - to improve their hobby and have a great holiday.

Personal Guide

We often have Darran and a local guide on the expedition. This will guarantee that your holiday runs smoothly and that you can get great local information. You can not beat having an experienced professional photographer on hand to help you get great results

Small group size

Just 4-10 fellow minded travellers. We can not stress enough how well this works compared to larger tour groups of around 20, which is the more common tour group size. Travelling on your own can work, but joining an experienced guide, with local operators is guaranteed to maximise your opportunities.
