Darran Leal - The Photographer

Photography has been a passion for Darran since becoming professional on Norfolk Island in 1980. He started teaching photo enthusiasts in 1982 as assistant to Warren Macris at courses held in Brisbane.

Darran is known for offering simple and concise explanations that will help you to improve your photogrpahy. He draws on 28 years of field experience.

This has been accumulated from many comercial shoots for companies like Qantas, Warner Brothers, Australia Post, Steve Parish Publishing, Australian Geographic - to his over 300 photo workshops and photo tours. Darran has shot everything from bikini-clad models, to cityscapes for a comercial NZ client to insects, landscapes, nature and creative.
