Commercial Shoots
Darran's first major commercial shoot was for the Queensland government for World Expo 88. Since then, he has shot a very wide range of subjects from Polar Bears, to Movie sets. He is regularly commissioned large companies to shoot everything from corporate themes through to food and products like calendars.
Magazines, books, brochures, postcards, stamps...
Darran's work was first published in 1985. He wrote an article with a friend and supplied the images on Carnarvon Gorge, Central Queensland.
Since then, he has had hundreds of images used in hundreds of publications around the world. Australian Geographic, Australia Post, Womens Weekly, Bush Driver, to name a few. In fact, he has now written over 200 articles for some 15 magazines!
Darran has self published several books from kids activity books to photo education and in recent times - Capturing The World - a book to celebrate 25 years of his photography. This book is for sale with two educational CD's for just AU$70.
